What a special day. The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia paid a working visit to our head office in Kokomlemle, Accra on Monday, March 26.

Our Chief Executive Officer, Alex Adjei Bram, took Dr. Bawumia through the services of the firm after a familiarization tour of the office.

Ever since we at Hubtel heard Baffour Awuah Tabury’s touching story on Citi FM, we have made it one of our 2017 goals to “Make Baffour Walk Again.” 

Before everything changed on the road to realizing his dreams and making his mother proud, Baffour was a final-year student at the University of Cape Coast and getting ready to graduate. He was involved in a motor accident that left him paralyzed from his waist down in 2007. Due to this unfortunate turn of events, Baffour had difficulty controlling his urine and bowels. This physiotherapy center in Orlando, Florida treats patients who have injured their spinal cords so they can fully recover their functions. Amazing right? A five-man delegation from the Ministry of Information led by Deputy Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, paid a courtesy visit to the Hubtel Offices.

The visit was in part to congratulate Hubtel on its business growth and to officially commence engagement on ways to enhance efforts at growing more technology entrepreneurs.

Key among the discussions was how to drive national development by encouraging the use of engagement tools between public and government agencies and private institutions.

In attendance were several of Hubtel’s partners and customers, who were given a tour of the office
